Our Story
Kids grow fast. Their gear shouldn't go to waste.
Little Rippers started in the mountains of Colorado with two adventurous boys, a whole lot of gear, and one mom who couldn't believe how quickly they outgrew it all.
Around here, kids who charge down ski slopes, send it on mountain bikes, and would rather be outside than anywhere else are affectionately known as little rippers. And raising a couple of them taught us something pretty quickly: keeping growing kids geared up for the sports they love gets expensive.
Skis. Bikes. Boots. Helmets. Pads. Jackets. Cleats. You name it.
Sometimes our kids outgrew their gear before they wore it out. Other times, they discovered a new sport and moved on after just one season. We were left with garages and closets full of really good gear—and another shopping list for whatever came next.
There had to be a better way.
Buying used made sense. It saved money, kept perfectly good gear in use, and meant fewer new products needed to be manufactured. But finding the right used gear wasn't always easy.
General marketplaces weren't designed for parents searching for a specific kids' ski length, bike wheel size, lacrosse stick, or pair of cleats. And buying expensive equipment from a stranger could feel like a leap of faith.
So we created Little Rippers.

Little Rippers is a marketplace built for families to buy and sell quality used sports gear.
Our goal is simple: make it easier for parents to find the gear their kids need, sell the gear they've outgrown, spend less money along the way, and keep great equipment out of landfills.
Because that mountain bike your kid has outgrown could be another kid's first real trail bike. Those race skis collecting dust could help another little ripper chase gates this winter. And the soccer cleats that somehow stopped fitting three weeks after you bought them? They still have plenty of goals left in them.
That's what Little Rippers is all about.
